Make an impact.

Create real change for our neighbors who need it most.

It’s the right thing to do.

Food insecurity is real.

Food insecurity isn’t just about missing a meal—it’s the uncertainty of not knowing where the next one will come from. It means families making impossible choices between groceries and rent, parents skipping meals so their children can eat, and seniors stretching a single meal across days. It’s more than hunger—it’s the weight of constant worry, the stress of making ends meet, and the struggle of simply getting by.

Hunger isn’t just about empty stomachs. It impacts health, learning, and overall well-being. Kids can’t focus in school when they’re hungry. Adults struggle to work, to care for their families, to thrive. The burden of food insecurity weighs heavily, but there is hope—because change is possible.

Every meal provided, every donation made, every hand extended in kindness brings relief to someone in need. When we come together, we turn hunger into hope. We build stronger, healthier communities. We remind our neighbors that they are not alone.

You have the power to make a difference. Let’s make sure no one in our city has to wonder where their next meal will come from.

Why it matters

Across the U.S., nearly 47 million people—including 14 million children—face food insecurity. That’s one in six of our neighbors who don’t always have access to the nourishment they need. Here in Louisville, the reality is just as stark. Around 13% of residents experience food insecurity, and for children, the number rises to a heartbreaking 22%—meaning more than one in five kids doesn’t have reliable access to enough food.
